The first opportunity to watch The Fall Guy is in theaters with any of its many showtimes. Universal Pictures gave the film an exclusive theatrical release date of May 3, 2024. The film was originally scheduled for an early March 2024 release date, but the studio delayed The Fall Guy to make it the start of the summer blockbuster movie season. This also allowed The Fall Guy to premiere at SXSW on March 12, which brought high praise for the film two months before its theatrical debut. Directed by Moritz Mohr in his directorial debut, with production by Sam Raimi, the film promises a fresh narrative and intense action.

Written by Tyler Burton Smith and Arend Remmers, this audacious venture is steeped in a dystopian backdrop plays by its own rules. Dive into a world where chaos meets comedy, and gory kills are an everyday thing. The film stars Bill Skarsgard, Famke Janssen, Yayan Ruhian, Sharlto Copley, Andrew Koji, Brett Gelman, Jessica Rothe, and Isaiah Mustafa.

Boy Kills World begins with an animation about the Culling, a yearly tradition that kills off random members of the population started by Hilda (Janssen). Then cut to the rainy jungle where the Boy, covered in mud, crawls to the feet of Shaman (Ruhian), a man who is also in the jungle training the boy in the way of martial arts. The narrative is accompanied by his internal dialogue that provides exposition and uses his ability to communicate with others who seem to understand him even though he can’t hear or speak.

The cast is lit with Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Sharlto Copley, Brett Gelman, Isaiah Mustafa, and Andrew Koji. Bill Skarsgård takes the lead, with a dope crew backing him up. The movie’s about different characters dealing with a messed-up world of darkness.
